One Blank Page

In a small town in Scotland they sell books with one blank page.
I sometimes wonder about these books, whether they are young or old of age.
I think it is quite funny, to turn the page and see
A plain, white, blank one, where something should really be.
No fairies, dragons, unicorns, glitter
Just a white page, as blank and white as winter
This is a situation that is quite hard to gage
Since in a small town in Scotland, they sell books with one blank page.

An American

Feeling fortunate, for America is free
I’m a brave American
America is like a squirrel, it goes in leaps and bounds
I’m a joyful American
America is an equal country
I’m a confident American
Everyone can live in America
But I’m a unique American
America is a place that is always changing
I am a true American

Snowfall

The first snowfall arrives like a timid deer
It covers the once bright green grass with a light, white powder
Then frosts the windows of the houses
It moves gently, quietly, softly, and silently
But as the cloud parts, and the snow ceases to fall
Over the small town
It leaves the beginning of winter to come.

The Broken Window

No matter what I do, I do nothing but think
of who and what I am. Not on the outside
but the inside, not only am I a girl I am
becoming a women in my own way.Not
from the looks of becoming women from
the outside. But the responsible women I am
becoming on the inside, I have become
more caring, responsible, and more
loving. So whatever you see from the
outside, is never going to be like what you
can see in someone from the inside. It's
more than just a person, it's you so be
yourself and show what's inside, is more
than looks of any kind.

Max

I have a dog
His name is "Max."
I will now share
A few facts.
He is three
He likes to see
Lots of squirrels
In the tree.
His tail is curly
And his belly is pearly.
He likes to dash
While looking like a flash.
He tends to run away
When forgetting to "stay."
Though he knows it's a loss
When his bone gets tossed.
When he does tricks
His favorite treats he gets.
He's so handsome
He could get all the chicks.
I tell him all my secrets
When I need a friend
A sympathetic ear
He will always lend.

The Sun, Good Rain, The Nasty Plant in a Pot

Sun
Big red
Burning heating nonliving
Getting sunburn is not fun
Star

Good rain
Some like the rain like
Me its fun to play in and
Helps me go to sleep

The nasty plant in a pot
We had a plant in a pot
Tied in a knot
That started to rot
Because it was covered in snot
That had spots
And got shot.

"All my Horses"

Ransom,Casper,Sue
Foxy and Huckleberry to
Running through the back lawn
Uh Oh the race is on
hoof beats rhythmically pound
echoing off the ground
the wind in their hair
like flags in the breezy air
it will be hard to call
to see who will win or fall.
